In fact, tradition claims a familial link to <strong>Saint Zanobi<\/strong>, one of Florence\u2019s most venerated spiritual figures. They also played a vital role in the city\u2019s economy. Specifically, they were active in the <strong>Arte della Lana<\/strong>\u2014Florence\u2019s powerful Wool Guild that drove much of its wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their properties stretched across the <strong>Por Santa Maria<\/strong> area and <strong>Borgo Santi Apostoli<\/strong>.
