Because of this, the church is packed with tourists every day. And of course, it makes sense\u2014these works are breathtaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just a few meters away\u2014literally a one-minute walk\u2014there is another jewel that receives almost no visitors. This imbalance is surprising and, in many ways, frustrating. And therefore, it\u2019s worth talking about its silent beauty right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hidden Caravaggio Treasures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Underrated Gem: Sant\u2019Agostino in Campo Marzio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Right nearby stands the wonderful Basilica of Sant\u2019Agostino in Campo Marzio. Its fa\u00e7ade, built with repurposed marble from the Colosseum, immediately catches the eye. Yet most tourists simply pass by without realizing what lies inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
