All Metropolitan City of Florence residents will be able to visit the Florentine civic museums and Palazzo Medici Riccardi for free on July 7, the first Sunday of the month. They will also be able to participate in a variety of scheduled visits and activities that have been organized by the Municipality of Florence, the metropolitan city of Florence, and Mus.e.
There are actually a lot of visits and events planned for both adults and children that will let you explore the wonders of the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions at the following Florence museums: Forte di Belvedere, Mad – Murate Art District, Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Stefano Bardini Museum, memorial of Deportations, Novecento Museum, Brancacci Chapel in Santa Maria del Carmine, and Palazzo Vecchio.
A new song for Orpheus in Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the animated story “To make a city it takes a flower” in Palazzo Vecchio, the artistic laboratory of dreams inspired by Louise Bourgeois’s exhibition at Novecento Museum, and three steps in the “Art al Mad” are among the events planned for kids and their families.
