Information used to provide your trip
We process the destination, dates, traveller count, travel preferences and trip description you submit to generate recommendations. Please do not include health information, passport details or other sensitive information in the description. Purchases involve your email address, payment reference, selected recommendation and itinerary. Stripe processes payment details; do not send card information to our support email.
Purposes and legal bases
Where GDPR applies, processing necessary to answer your request and deliver a purchase is based on pre-contractual steps or performance of the contract. Accounting obligations are based on applicable law. Necessary security and fraud prevention may rely on legitimate interests, subject to a balancing assessment. Optional marketing and tracking require the appropriate consent where applicable.
Service providers and international processing
The website and its WordPress database are hosted with Hostinger (hostinger.com). Local unlock records can include your email address, payment reference and itinerary. Stripe processes card payments separately. Transactional email and tour catalogue providers also support the service. We do not operate a newsletter service. Following a partner booking link takes you to a separate provider subject to its own terms and privacy notice. Images hosted by third parties can transmit connection information when loaded.
Before publication: confirm the complete provider list, recipient roles, actual data sent to each provider, international transfer safeguards, applicable representative requirements and contact details.
Retention
The private recovery link is designed to remain usable for seven days. This access period is not a promise that all purchase data or backups are deleted after seven days. Transaction records, support correspondence, logs and backups require a documented retention and deletion schedule.
Audio generation and hosting
The audio system sends narration text to ElevenLabs to generate speech and stores audio files with Cloudflare R2. Playing hosted audio communicates connection information to the audio host. Do not include personal or sensitive information in travel descriptions or requests. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; our website does not ask you to submit full card details to us.
EXPERIENCE submissions
EXPERIENCE contributors must declare that they are 18 or older and have the rights and permissions needed to submit their text and photographs. Submissions require administrator review. If published, the nickname, story and photos are public and may be indexed by search engines. Submitting does not subscribe you to marketing. You may request removal or report a rights violation through our reporting page or info@bestfreetour.com.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Contact info@bestfreetour.com. We may request proportionate identity verification. You may complain to your competent data protection authority. Rights are subject to applicable legal conditions.
