Sundowners will love the Butterfly Terrace on the top of the Il Tornabuoni Hotel (via de’ Tornabuoni 3). Meetings, relaxing, and enjoying specialty drinks and well chosen wines on the historic terraces of the city are all wonderful experiences. Private gatherings can be arranged, and jazz evenings elevate the atmosphere. Mondays are closed.
701 Rooftop Bar is brand-new for 2024. Situated on the seventh and highest level of the Lungarno Collection’s Gallery Hotel Art in vicolo dell’Oro, which is owned by Ferragamo, this newcomer to the city’s rooftop scene has breathtaking views of the Palazzo Vecchio, Giotto’s bell tower, and the Duomo. Anticipate elegant mixology, flawless design by Michele Bönan, and a gentleman’s club vibe. The cocktail menu features a unique fusion of traditional favorites and creative concoctions.
La Terrazza Bar at Hotel Continentale (lungarno degli Acciaiuoli 2R), another addition to the Lungarno Collection, is nevertheless a classy setting with views directly over the Ponte Vecchio. Open from 4 to 10 p.m. every day.
